About Me

I am currently employed at the White County Sheriff’s Department as the department’s Major. I am 52 years old; I am married to JoAn and the father of one son, Brandon (deceased) and one daughter, Vivi. I also have one granddaughter, Rachel. I am a local small business owner of a retail clothing store known as The Scrub Hub, which is located in Searcy. I am a Veteran of the Arkansas Army National Guard. Also, I like to fish, hunt and spend time with my family. I am an avid NASCAR fan as well.

I have 24 years Law Enforcement experience. I have worked here at White County Sheriff Department for the last 18 years. My Law Enforcement experience consists of Patrol, Canine Handler, Patrol Supervisor, Criminal Investigations, Narcotics Investigations, Jail Administration and Executive Administration. I have over 1500 hours of accredited Law Enforcement training such as the University of Arkansas’ Criminal Justice Institutes School of Law Enforcement Supervision and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Command College’s Arkansas Leader Program.

I am a past President of the Arkansas Jail Administrators Association and I am the current President of the White County Fair Board. I am also currently serving on the Arkansas Professional Bail Bondsman Licensing Board as appointed by Governor Asa Hutchinson.
